ABOUT THE INSPIRED LIFE

From Systems thinking to Wellness being

​

The Inspired Life (TIL) was born from my own personal journey. I have always been on a quest to understand how things work. That drive led me to the US Army Signal Corps, and after my time in service, into a civilian career in Information Technology.

​

Science, schematics, and the flow of energy and data have always made sense to me. However, in my personal life, when I tried to make sense of how to break cycles of multi-generational dysfunction, there was no flowchart—no clear path. I set out on a lifelong journey to find the way to peace.

​

Bridging the Gap: Science and Ancient Wisdom

​

I’m Christine, though my friends call me Chris. I am a "regular person" who has implemented many practices that have brought me peace and understanding. I am a 200hr registered WAE yoga teacher, WAE Level One,  WAE certified retreat leader and Level II Reiki practitioner. My training was through Warriors at Ease and I'm registered with Yoga Alliance. ​

​

My lifelong exploration of various healing modalities is what eventually gave rise to The Inspired Life. Through this journey, I’ve identified the tools that truly work, and I’m dedicated to sharing those insights with anyone seeking relief from an unsettled nervous system. Beyond simply 'feeling better,' these practices are designed for sustainable performance and resilient stress management—essential for anyone navigating the daily pressures of life or high-pressure environments.

At TIL, I share body, mind, brain, and breath practices found at the intersection of science, modern spirituality, and ancient wisdom. I believe all have their place. I have found that being open to a variety of approaches can have a profound effect on prompting our body's innate wellbeing and inner wisdom.

About Warriors at Ease

​

Warriors at Ease offers free classes of trauma-informed yoga, meditation, and/or mindfulness practices to the military community in support of their physical and mental health and well-being. 

​

Warriors at Ease offers a comprehensive suite of training programs birthed from some of the first clinical studies funded by the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs on the efficacy of yoga and meditation to help heal combat-related injuries.

​

Warriors at Ease teacher trainings include;  Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Meditation for military populations; Skills for Teaching Adaptive Yoga for physical disabilities; Trauma Informed for Teaching Yoga and Meditation to Survivors of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and moral injury.
