ABOUT THE INSPIRED LIFE
From Systems thinking to Wellness being

The Inspired Life (TIL) began with a simple question that has followed me most of my life: How do things really work?

That question first led me into service with the U.S. Army Signal Corps and later into a civilian career in Information Technology. I have always been drawn to systems—how information moves, how energy flows, and how complex problems can be understood by breaking them down into their parts.

In the technical world, there is almost always a diagram, a protocol, or a schematic that explains how something functions. But life rarely offers that kind of blueprint. Through my own experiences navigating difficult and deeply human challenges, I found myself searching for a way to understand the patterns that shape our lives and how those patterns can be changed.

That search became a lifelong pursuit.

Over time, I began to see that the same curiosity that helped me understand technology could also be applied to life itself—learning to recognize patterns, question assumptions, and intentionally choose a more clear path forward. The journey became one of moving from survival toward a life of intention and peace.

The Inspired Life grew out of that journey. It is a place where insights about growth, resilience, and human potential are shared with others seeking greater clarity and direction. The aim is to help people strengthen their capacity to navigate challenges, perform with intention, and build lives grounded in purpose, balance, and well-being.

Bridging the Gap: Science and Ancient Wisdom

I’m Christine, though my friends call me Chris. I’m a “regular person” who has discovered and implemented many practices that have brought me greater peace and clarity in life. I’m a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, a certified retreat leader, and a Level II Reiki practitioner, and I’m registered with Yoga Alliance. My yoga teacher and retreat leader training were completed through Warriors at Ease, an organization you can read more about below.

At TIL, I share body, mind, and breath practices found at the intersection of science, modern spirituality, and ancient wisdom. I believe each has its place, and that being open to a variety of approaches can have a profound effect on supporting the body’s innate wellbeing and inner wisdom.

Welcome! I hope you find something here that inspires you, too.
